Guide Architecture provided full architectural and interior design services for the Advanced Ambulatory Surgery Center in Carlsbad, New Mexico. The 13,210-square-foot, single-story facility is designed to deliver advanced outpatient surgical care in a modern, efficient environment that supports both clinical performance and patient comfort. The project includes an 8,500-square-foot Ambulatory Surgery Center featuring a waiting area, administrative spaces, a catheterization lab, pre-operative and post-recovery bays, a hybrid operating room, and sub-sterile support functions. In addition, the facility includes a 3,500-square-foot clinic component with a dedicated waiting room, provider offices, and exam rooms to support pre- and post-procedure patient care. The design emphasizes seamless clinical flow, staff efficiency, and compliance with all applicable Ambulatory Surgery Center and life safety standards.

Guide Architecture collaborated closely with the ownership team, consultants, and regulatory agencies to deliver a state-of-the-art facility that expands access to high-quality outpatient surgical services in the Carlsbad region.
