Behind the build.

Guide Architecture provided concept and predesign services for a new 80,000-square-foot Ambulatory Surgery Center for Andrews Medicine. Envisioned as a national center of excellence, the facility integrates surgical, clinical, research, and performance functions within a single state-of-the-art campus designed to serve collegiate and professional sports programs across the country. The program includes a fully licensed surgical department, multi-specialty clinic space, research facilities, a sports performance gym and training center, and an integrated PT/OT therapy gym that opens directly onto a full regulation-size football and soccer field—creating a seamless connection between treatment, training, and recovery. Architecturally, the design incorporates a modern material palette and brand-forward expression, with each program component showcased through internally illuminated glazing to emphasize identity and transparency. A skybox penthouse provides elevated views of the field for coaches, trainers, and staff, reinforcing the connection between athletic performance and clinical excellence.

Guide Architecture’s design vision establishes a bold, future-ready environment that merges healthcare innovation, sports science, and architectural expression into a single integrated destination for performance and recovery.
