Behind the build.
Guide Architecture provided full architectural and interior design services for the Peterson Health Ambulatory Surgery Center in Kerrville, Texas. The project consists of a new three-story facility located on the Peterson Health campus, designed to expand outpatient surgical capacity while supporting future medical office and tenant use.The first floor houses the licensed Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC), which includes four operating rooms, four endoscopy procedure rooms, pre-operative and post-anesthesia recovery bays, and comprehensive staff support areas. The second and third floors are designed as tenant shell spaces for future medical office use, with the second floor incorporating a training and conference suite and access to an exterior rooftop patio that serves as an amenity for staff and visitors. The design prioritizes efficiency, safety, and patient experience, with clear circulation paths and seamless clinical adjacencies that enhance operational performance.
Guide Architecture collaborated closely with Peterson Health leadership, engineers, and consultants to deliver a modern, flexible facility that aligns with the health system’s long-term strategic vision and commitment to patient-centered care.
