Porter Health Village Behavioral Health Hospital

This 48-bed facility is designed to provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services, featuring dedicated adult and older adult units along with an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). The design prioritizes safety, comfort, and therapeutic engagement through secure yet restorative environments that support patient dignity and staff efficiency.The facility includes patient care units, group therapy spaces, treatment rooms, administrative offices, and shared amenities that promote natural light and connection to outdoor spaces. Durable, ligature-resistant materials and clear sightlines throughout the units enhance safety while maintaining a non-institutional aesthetic.

Guide Architecture collaborated closely with the health system leadership and consultants to create a flexible, code-compliant facility that expands access to behavioral health services for the Norman community while aligning with the system’s broader vision for the Porter Health Village campus.
