Behind the build.
This 72-bed behavioral health facility serves adult, geriatric, and adolescent patient populations within a secure, therapeutic setting designed to promote healing, safety, and dignity. The program includes inpatient treatment units, outpatient therapy spaces, an electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) suite, full dietary services, exercise facilities, and landscaped outdoor courtyards. The design incorporates dark green and black masonry brick, creating a timeless and regionally appropriate aesthetic that complements the natural tones and textures of the Pacific Northwest landscape. Large windows and access to natural light enhance the interior environment, fostering a calm and restorative atmosphere for patients and staff.
Guide Architecture collaborated closely with the operator and clinical consultants to deliver a code-compliant, durable, and human-centered facility that reflects the organization’s commitment to quality behavioral healthcare and integration within its surrounding community.
