Guide Architecture completed the design of an outpatient and congregate living facility for Sun Behavioral Health in Georgetown, Delaware. This transformative project is focused on addressing critical mental health and addiction challenges in the region by providing a safe, structured, and supportive environment for adults seeking recovery and reintegration into the community.The facility will serve individuals aged 18 and older with mental health and substance use disorders who are ready to participate in outpatient treatment and transitional living programs. Priority is given to residents from Georgetown and surrounding communities, ensuring that the program directly supports local behavioral health needs.
The design emphasizes a therapeutic and home-like setting that fosters stability, dignity, and healing. Integrated outpatient treatment spaces, group therapy areas, residential accommodations, and communal living environments are organized to encourage engagement, accountability, and connection. Through thoughtful design and collaboration with Sun Behavioral Health, this project aims to transform lives and strengthen the community through accessible, evidence-based behavioral healthcare.
